I have SO MUCH to teach and share but seem to find it nearly impossible to get my fingers on the keyboard CONSISTENTLY to write content. I have had 100 starts trying many different methods (“talking” and transcribing, etc.) and I own >15 courses on writing and storytelling (tells me I am ‘called’ to write) but I am still here commenting and exploring instead of writing.
i know i experienced something very similar when i was in the process of “writing my book” – for me, and i can only speak to my situation on this… i realized that the goal of “writing my book” was WAY TO BIG! i had to break it WAY down! Curious if “so much to teach and share” and “writing content” is too big. When you think of your business and putting yourself out there, there are 3 key funnels you MUST have in place: (1) your marketing funnel; (2) sales funnel and (3) client support funnel. for each of those there’s specific things to write, teach and share: for (1) marketing funnel you have (a) lead magnet and follow up autoresponders. Have you written your lead magnet? have you created follow up messages once someone grabs your free gift? If so, great. if not focus on writing/creating THAT and nothing else until that’s done! You certainly don’t yet need client support content if you’re not even getting opt ins and people on your list. How are you breaking down what it is you’re writing? teaching? sharing?
